Chimera Install InstructionsThese instructions assume you have downloaded and installed Chimera and the LifeScienceWeb clients. You should place the decompressed "lswclients" folder in the directory in which you will leave it. Chimera depends on this directory not moving. If you move it, you must follow these install instructions again. 1. Open Chimera.2. Open "Favorites->Preferences..." from the main menu as seen in Figure 1. 
Figure 1. Opening the preferences. 3. Select "Tools" from the "Category" drop down menu. 4. Click the "Add" button. 5. A dialog will pop up allowing you to select the location of the "lswclients" folder. Remember, you must not move this folder once you set the location. 6. Select the "lswclients" folder and click "Open" to select it and close the dialog. 7. You will see this directory listed in the "Locations" text field as seen in Figure 2. 8. Click "Save" in order for the changes to take effect. You can now close the "Preferences" window. 
Figure 2. Adding the "lswclients" folder to Chimera's search path. 9. Now the LifeScienceWeb Clients are accessible from the "Tools->LSW-Services" menu option as seen in Figure 3.
